“In my home country, university is a very different environment. At Curtin, it is a relaxed pace, the teaching style is very different and I love the professors because they really care about teaching us as students and are great at demonstrating and providing feedback. They allow us to come out of our shell so I am able to explore Perth without feeling stress. The campus also helps you creatively and motivates you academically. There is a positive and cheerful vibe, and you can tell students thoroughly enjoy it. You are also more motivated to come to campus as everyone is going through the same experience. What I enjoy about my faculty is how there is quality equipment for everything. There’s a lot to think about with patients and they place students in real life scenarios to provide the opportunities to practice.”

“When I asked an agent in Indonesia for recommendations on where to study business, they recommended Curtin. I searched Curtin on social media and found that they rank highly as a university, especially the business school. I started studying online in Indonesia due to the pandemic then when borders opened, I travelled to Curtin Perth to finish my degree. The online tutorials were very helpful during Covid and helped me keep up with my studies. The campus is also huge and modern, and the people are friendly and helpful. Bangor’s School of Ocean Sciences is one of its largest schools and is highly ranked with an excellent staff of professors. All of the teachers are very passionate about the content they teach and I love hearing all the personal stories and research adventures related to the lecture content and it made me more interested in the lectures. Also, the location of Bangor provides a lot of opportunities for field-based learning.

I chose to study at Bangor University mainly because of the location, I'm studying Adventure Sports Science, and Bangor in North Wales has many mountains, lakes, and rivers where I can go exploring.

I chose Bangor University because of the quality of education, wide range of facilities offered by the university, and the environment of creating collaborations between students belonging to different cultures, which benefits in various ways including knowledge of other cultures, respect, and learning to adjust in a diverse community.

What drew me to choose Bangor University was that the course they offered is a dual course; a master’s program as well as a professional diploma.
Also, the great thing about Bangor is its proximity, everything is within walking distance. The cost of living here is also low compared to other cities and the people here are very friendly.

I chose to study at Bangor University because the program offers a combination of academic excellence, practical learning, research opportunities, and a supportive environment. The academic staff are dedicated to delivering engaging and informative lectures, seminars, and tutorials. Lecturers and tutors are approachable, and access to various support services to help students succeed academically.

I chose Bangor University as it has an interdisciplinary ageing and dementia research team and works closely with people living with dementia and their care partners.
I love that many of my lecturers are clinicians, and they bring in people with lived experiences to share their journey/knowledge with us. This translates theories learnt really well into clinical practice.

“I love the vibe of the university, how there are lots of places to study outside of class including some hidden spots. Curtin also helps international students, I always maintained contact with the International sponsor unit who helped me with finding accommodation and bringing my family here. In terms of study, I get along with my supervisors and have a good relationship with them. "I chose Curtin Singapore because of the fast-tracked program they offered. It was a 16-month diploma course, then I transferred to Curtin Perth and progressed straight into second-year of my university degree. I was excited because I heard many great things about the Perth campus. Since it is the main campus, it is extremely big and has many different facilities for students. I’m so grateful Griffith exists because the past three years have been the best of my life. The thing I love most about my life in Queensland is that I feel like I’m on a vacation that never ends. Griffith University is so close to the beach, but the main reason I chose Griffith is because of the reputation of its health programs, so I know I am receiving a high-quality education. The facilities are impressive and modern, and the campus is right next to the Gold Coast University Hospital, so it’s very easy to do placement. I never thought that moving from Sweden to Australia to study at Griffith University would change my life so much! I chose to study at Griffith because it had the perfect balance between field work, laboratory work and classroom, which means that every day is different.
