"Curtin has so many clubs, experiences and programs available to students who want to be part of a community. Something I enjoyed the most was the Barefoot Lunches - the Curtin Experience team would set up the most beautifully decorated picnic areas under a tent with small tables, rugs and pillows. In the spring and summer, my friends and I would go out and sunbathe on the lawn, play some games, enjoy the complimentary sweet treats, and listen to the beautiful live music performed by talented, local, homegrown musicians. The Guild hosts a variety of events, including toga parties, end-of-semester bashes, and women’s day morning teas, fostering a vibrant and positive campus culture and vibe. The Curtin gym is one of my favourite places on campus - I’m passionate about strength training and so I train there every morning. The equipment is high class, the culture is great and the people and staff are so friendly and happy to help.
During my time at Curtin, I also loved taking part in the wellbeing classes, like pilates, yoga, spin, boxing, as well as playing social basketball as you can meet like - minded people and become part of a community. If you’re thinking about joining Curtin...make the jump! Studying at Curtin was one of the best decisions I’ve made.”
