"I chose Chichester for many reasons, one of which was the nature of the campus - being rather small, you bump into friends all the time on your travels! I also love the SIZ and Learning Centre, as they provide a fantastic wealth of books and journals for any assignment I face. The lecturers on my course are all incredibly helpful and the friends I’ve made here are second to none. In all, I’d recommend Chichester to anyone!"

"Without a doubt, my Roehampton degree opened many doors for me. Having my MSc from a British school has allowed me to stand out from other professionals in my field. Never in a million years did I think I would be working on projects of this size, scope, and importance. Plus, I met my future wife at Heathrow Airport on my first day in London. She was heading to Roehampton just like me!"

"Chichester University is very effective in preparing students to face real life; its teaching system encourages individual development by using real application projects in class. If you ever feel lost in any area, there is always a departament ready to help you cope with the issue, whether it is financial or personal. Chichester is more than an educational institution, it is a community you belong to from the moment you arrive."

"I’ve been to England before. I’ve been here twice, to London mainly. So, for the past few years, I always wanted to come back and see England and thought that maybe one day I’ll live here and teach here. Even more so now. I love England. It’s a beautiful country, very beautiful. It’s a lot to do and a lot to see."

"I chose to study abroad here because I’ve never left the country before so it was a good first step, not like going somewhere where they don’t speak English. Here, it's really cool that we get to be in the classrooms and get hands-on experiences. I’ve got so many great new ideas that are so different from what we have in the US, which is awesome."

"I chose this programme because it gives you a lot of great school experience and we are actually places in the classrooms which I really like so we can make some comparisons and learn from a different country and see what they do well so we can take it back to the States and maybe improve. Everyone is great. Mary is an angel!"

"My most memorable moment spent at ROE was the Thanksgiving that I celebrated abroad. I lived in a flat with seven other women – one American, two from the UK and four from Greece. The other American and I decided to throw a full-fledged Thanksgiving celebration for our flat to give the others a taste of a truly American holiday. All eight of us went grocery shopping together and crowded the kitchen for a night of cooking, eating, reflecting, and bonding. To this day, all eight of us keep in touch and have even visited each other on both sides of the pond since graduating!"

"I chose the UK because this was the perfect programme for me through my university at home. It’s a month-long programme and I thought that this was the perfect amount of time to study abroad because I didn’t really want to go away for the whole semester and I had some free time in the summer and this programme just happened to fit all those criteria."

"With its highly specialised research programme and the world-class faculty, Roehampton was, simply, the perfect fit for me when looking at MA possibilities. I found nowhere else in the world a uni that had the modules directly linked to my research interests and faculty members that actively cared about my well-being. Receiving a quick, personalised email reply from Professor Andrée Grau sealed the deal that Roehampton was the place for me."

"While I initially chose to study at Roehampton because it was the only school in the world with my master’s programme, I have found so much more through the university. I have gained practical experience doing fieldwork in local communities and received guidance from seasoned professionals from all over the world. ROE has given me opportunities to network with experts in my field and to present my work at international conferences."

"The social life at Roehampton is amazing and one of the most special parts of campus life. There is always something going on, which makes socialising so easy! Living in London is truly a once in a lifetime experience. Public transportation is easily accessible all across London, which is perfect for sightseeing and travelling. ROE is a great fit for all aspiring students. It makes every student feel at home in as big of a city as London."

"Everyone was welcoming and friendly and very patiently taught me how to ride buses and trains! Not only are the campus grounds lovely, the university is only a short bus ride from the neighborhoods of Putney, Barnes and Sheen which offer shopping as well as a variety of delicious restaurants and cafes. I really feel like I have been able to build professional relationships with my tutors and lecturers, who are always more than willing to support students."

"There are a few reasons why I chose the UK. For example, affordability and the length of the programme. I knew what I wanted to study right from the beginning. I didn’t want to pay for extra classes that didn’t relate to my degree."

"For me, the best part of the university has been the independence I gained and what came with that. Living on my own, buying my own food, and just making my own decisions was an essential part of my character growth in the past two years. I am a much more confident person in so many ways, and much happier and more content with what I am doing in life."

"I am working in China at an outdoor training company. I enjoy my work and life here in China, my course at Chichester provided me with skills and positive attitudes to work with people from different backgrounds. I hope to see more English graduates working abroad, and also more Chinese students can study sport at Chichester."

"I chose University of Bristol when I applied for the Chevening Scholarship because of its reputation. Since UoB is one of the top universities in the UK (and in the world), I am proud to study here. I believe that all the knowledge and experience I'll acquire during my studies will enhance my future career."
