This is my third year study in USA. I love the quietness of FMCC campus as it allows me to be calm and stay focus, there not much distraction and I can do my study outside of classroom without disturbs. It is a wonderful place to acquire knowledge while have some fun time. The professor here are serious, responsible and patient, they are always there to provide full support when I need. I feel very lucky to be studying here at FMCC.

I am very happy to be part of FMCC. I have made many friends and I have a wonderful life with my roommates. I am really lucky to meet good teachers at FMCC who taught me a lot of good things. I am glad I landed at a college that gives me a holistic experience of how a student life is like. I love FMCC so much.

Griffith University offers many different types of extra-curricular initiatives such as the Griffith Mates, Griffith Mentoring Program, PASS leader and Griffith Business School Student Leadership Program. These provide ample opportunity to meet and network with peers from all over the world.’

I studied here because I had done some research on the campus and know this is the right place to be. The study environment perfectly fits me well. I can study in quiet place when I need to concentrate on doing assignment but also have great fun with my friends in some community area too. I'm glad I could come here and make my dream come true.

"Chichester University is very effective in preparing students to face real life; its teaching system encourages individual development by using real application projects in class. If you ever feel lost in any area, there is always a departament ready to help you cope with the issue, whether it is financial or personal. Chichester is more than an educational institution, it is a community you belong to from the moment you arrive."

I have started my Griffith University journey from Griffith College. I came there straight from high school and they gave me the foundation of my Griffith University program. I believe that after Griffith College I was more familiar with the Australian education system, and I felt more confident and prepared to enter the university life at Griffith.

"Before coming to Australia, I felt very nervous and excited, but also very curious. Then, when I arrived here at JCU, it was exactly how I've imagined it."

I have been at FMCC for more than one month. I am so happy that I can study in FMCC because it is not just a place to study but to connect with new friends so I don't feel lonely staying far away from my family and friends. My professors are very friendly and always willing to talk to me when I have any problems with my assignment. It is important to be in the place where I can both pursue my dream and see myself grow.

"I wanted to study in a smaller city and live with locals to get to know the New Zealand culture and to improve my English. People here are really friendly and open-minded. Nelson has been a good base for me to travel around the rest of New Zealand as well as it is situated centrally and you can reach both islands easily."

As a Griffith Mate, I love helping students settle in to life in Australia and university. The Mates are such a wonderful, tight-knit family and are always a friendly face on campus. Not only is it an amazing opportunity to make new friends, but the experiences and leadership skills I have gained are immensely useful in improving my employability.

I chose to study at Griffith University in Queensland because it has great weather. My friends studied here already, and recommended me. Griffith’s support services helped me at the start when I wasn’t used to how university worked especially in a totally new country like Australia.

I have always wanted to get out of my comfort zone and explore the world and the different cultures it has to offer. That was the main reason why I decided to come to Australia. Griffith University has been known to have the best mix of all cultures combined, which is why I decided to join Griffith.

"Curtin was my dream university since I passed my undergraduate degree. I got to know from an education fair that Curtin is ranked on the top 1% of the world's universities, which attracted me a lot. There, the English Language Bridging Course gave me an opportunity to not only improve myself on academic skills, but also it taught me how to carry out multiple tasks at a time, handling stressful situations. If you're thinking about a career in Curtin University, you are leading yourself along the right path."

At first, I really couldn't adapt to such a strange and stressful learning model as I had to complete some quizzes and difficult essays within the specified time. After completing these assignments, I had to review the lecture notes to get prepared for the final exam. Sometimes unprecedented learning patterns and language barriers made me feel helpless and stressful. But after some time, I found the shortcomings of my study and gradually found a learning method that was suitable for me.

Griffith's support services have made university the best time of my life. I love getting involved with the university community through programs such as Griffith Mates and Orientation activities, and I have met so many amazing people throughout my time here. Staff are friendly and will always try their best to answer any questions you may have.

When I first arrived in Australia, I didn’t know anything about this new place nor did I know anyone. The orientation ceremony held by Griffith helped me a lot to learn everything I needed to know for my studies. The friendly support staff and mentors made a huge impact on my positive start to being a Griffith student.

Griffith's support services have helped me with something that I personally have struggled a lot with - socializing and making new friends. Moving entirely alone to a new country was very difficult for me to adjust to, especially because I had no friends here and nobody to turn to when I needed help. Through Orientation activities and several Griffith Mates programs (volunteering day-trips and the Buddy Program specifically) have helped me meet new people and make friends, some of which are in the same courses as I am.

Maryville University - a second home and so far an incredible experience. Every day gives new opportunities to make new, long-lasting memories with faculty, staff, and other students. At Maryville I matter, I inspire, I get inspired, and I evolve. For each day that passes I see myself becoming more and more the person I aspire to be, and with the engaging staff and great diversity, there is always something to take away from each and every day.

"When I first arrived I heard about this word 'mate.' The most important thing about the mateship is respecting each other."
