Project WICCED, which stands for Water in the Changing Coastal Environment of Delaware, is a cooperative endeavor of the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Delaware Technical Community College and Wesley College.
Scholars Day is an opportunity for the entire Wesley College community to come together and celebrate scholarly endeavors. This day consists of presentations and performances that demonstrate scholarly achievements and research by students. The program is attended by peers of the participating students as well as faculty, staff, family members of the presenters and the public.
I chose Wesley for the opportunities that were available here. I had the option to start my Undergraduate Research during my Freshman year!
Wesley College is a small college with small classroom settings, where you have the ability to get to know everyone. There is a very personal feeling about Wesley itself. My experience here was great; I made some of my best friends for life.
A Wesley College ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated a generous, on-going donation from the Harry K. Foundation for a food bank. Several anti-hunger advocates officially cut the ribbon on the new food bank for students at Wesley.
