I remember the Orientation day, spent alongside all my fellow classmates. I would smile and talk to others but deep inside, I was filled with fear, uncertainty and had low self-esteem. The only thing I knew was that I had accomplished my dream attending college. After that, I hadn’t dreamed beyond it. Investing in college was the best decision that I have made.
Wesleyan is a diverse, warm, and inclusive community with responsible, caring, and knowledgeable professors. Here, I am able to enhance my study through independent research projects with my professors, gain leadership and management skills through organizations and clubs on campus, make friends and experience sisterhood traditions from all over the world.
Coming to Wesleyan was a great opportunity because my family and I have always wanted me to experience America's educational system. Wesleyan offers a good amount of scholarship that helps reduce the financial burden of my family. I choose Communication as my major because I believe that communication skills are needed no matter what I do in the future.
To say that Wesleyan has been a stimulating experience would be an understatement. Through student and faculty support I’ve been able to maximize the benefits of studying abroad. Wesleyan will always be my home away from home. Go Wolves!
